Please note: Verification of your eligibility may be requested by WGU at any time throughout the application or enrollment period. If your application is selected for WGU verification, you will be required to provide the some or all of the following documents:

Income verification documents including most recently completed tax return and W2’s.

Military status verification documents including DD-214

Notarized statement attesting you have not earned a bachelor’s degree

Proof of Hampton Roads address (utility bill and/or insurance)

Please also note the Federal Government may request a separate verification of information on the FAFSA. If you are selected for FAFSA verification, you will be notified by the WGU Financial Aid Department about the documents required to confirm Pell eligibility.
